Antique Oceanic Mask or Totem – SOLD

Antique Sepik River, New Guinea tribal mask.  Early 20th Century.  Mask features cowrie shell and bird-of paradise feather adornment some in blue.  It is a female figure above and a bird below.  Shows some sign of an old repair where the bird attaches.  Some missing cowrie shells on top left of forehead and bottom of chin on female figure, otherwise in good condition with wonderful paint design.  This piece is amazing.  Collected at end of WWII.  23 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.  Sold As Is, Where Is.  No refunds, no partial refunds.
